The Niagara Power of Niagara Falls, NY, the So. Cal Catch of Southern California, and the Herndon Braves of Herndon, VA are collegiate baseball teams that represent FCA. Niagara began playing in the New York Collegiate Baseball League the summer of 2007, the Catch will open in the California Collegiate League in 2013, and the Braves will open in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League in 2013. These teams provide opportunities for furthering baseball skills and abilities of college players while also emphasizing the importance of character, integrity, and excellence in baseball and in the community. The core objective of these teams is to provide college baseball players and coaches the opportunity to exercise and to grow in their faith on and off the diamond. In addition to playing games before hometown crowds throughout June and July, small group Bible studies and daily chapel speakers prepare and build players and coaches for the game of life from a Biblical perspective. The platform players have allows them to share their faith at youth camps, clinics, with visiting teams after home games, and in church services on Sundays.
